How long is the session?

The entire session takes about 60 minutes.

How many times?

It is recommended 2 to 3 times a year.

What to do to prevent it?

Brush teeth at least 2 times a day and floss.

Is it painful?

Absolutely not.

What are the benefits of a maintenance dental hygiene session?

During a dental hygiene session, plaque and tartar are removed. This allows you to:

  • prevent the onset of periodontal disease (pyorrhoea) and gum recession;

  • prevent the onset of caries;

To take care of yourself and prevent oral health problems, such as gingivitis and periodontitis, it is essential to perform proper oral hygiene at home as well:

  • brush your teeth and gums for two minutes, at least twice a day;

  • floss daily;

  • do not smoke;

  • use toothpaste and mouthwashes that contain fluoride;

  • limit intake of sugary foods and drinks;

  • eat a balanced diet.
