The Visit

Centro Andriolo remained open during the pandemic: all mandatory and necessary precautions were implemented from the very beginning and implemented with the new regulations in force. The practice being already accustomed to continually sanitizing after each patient, added a few precautions without any difficulty.

Before arriving

The Telephone Triage

Each patient before scheduling the appointment ensures during the telephone conversation that he or she is not under quarantine; has no symptoms; has just returned from a trip; and has not been in contact with anyone under quarantine

Once you have entered the Center

Screening and preventive and hygiene measures

Upon arrival at the Center, equipped with an appointment, patients have their temperature measured with an infrared thermometer. If the value exceeds 37.5, the patient is sent to the primary care physician.

All materials (pens, ATMs, counter support) that are touched by people entering the CENTRO ANDRIOLO are covered with film, which is changed twice a day. The patient must be provided with a mask, and before going to the second floor they disinfect their hands.

The operating areas

The absence of the spittoon and sanitization

The waiting room has been reduced: from 10 people, it now accommodates only three. The patient, equipped with shoe covers, as soon as he or she enters the office places the mask on a washcloth to be sanitized with the spray. Since the spittoon has always been absent as a matter of hygiene, a one-minute hydrogen peroxide rinse is then performed, followed by the second with chlorhexidine. All surfaces are sanitized between appointments.

The visit

The safety and security

Prior to each patient's visit, the physician performs a 60-second hand wash, wears a pair of gloves, disposable cap and gown, goggles, surgical mask, and face shield. The patient is also provided with disposable protection.
